As a Digital Engineer in our business you will:

  • Coordinate the production, maintenance, and dissemination of digital information from Design, Engineering, and Construction to achieve digital engineering outcomes.
  • Train and implement DE/ BIM workflows, including model federation and maintaining a single source of truth.
  • Facilitate BIM technology use, ensuring file interoperability and effective use of BIM Authoring Tools.
  • Assist in 3D virtual design coordination and improve 4D planning within construction occupations.
  • Maintain BIM models for field operations and support integrated planning workflows using Synchro and Primavera P6.
  • Perform model-based quantity extractions (5D) to inform cost and construction planning.
  • Support stakeholders with integrated delivery workflows and develop construction phase designs.
  • Facilitate constructability and safety reviews using design, reality data, survey, and program insights.

Required Skills and Competencies

  • Experience in construction and delivery of major infrastructure projects (Civil, Structural, Rail and Buildings Engineering) will be highly regarded.
  • Diploma or higher level qualification in a relevant field is required.
  • Possessing the necessary acumen, knowledge and hands-on expertise to manage digital Engineering (DE) requirements in alignment with the ISO 19650 framework and workflows
  • Proven Experience with 4D and 5D BIM will be particularly advantageous as will be experience working with federated models and advising delivery teams on sequencing/planning for improvements in efficiencies and safety
  • Highly developed communications skills and an ability to persuade & influence whilst working collaboratively with a broad range of stakeholders.
