About the role
Be part of this ‘once in a generation’ project that will deliver clean energy to 6 million homes for the next 60 years. Sizewell C will see the creation of a 3.2 Gigawatt nuclear power station on the Suffolk coast to provide reliable load low-carbon electricity.
The Civil Works Alliance is an extended delivery enterprise involving Sizewell C and three international construction companies: Balfour Beatty, Bouygues Travaux Publics and Laing O’Rourke.

What you’ll be doing
Delivering on all aspects of integrated Emergency Management (IEM). IEM is defined as Anticipating threats, hazards, Assessing risk, Preventing risk, Preparing for the effects of a risk, Responding to an emergency, Learning from Experience, Recovering from the effects of an incident / emergency and Validating procedures.
To support the HSW Managers and Operational teams to comply with the SZC fire and emergency preparedness arrangements, ensuring all legal obligations are met.

Who we’re looking for

  • Excellent understanding of infrastructure project delivery processes and challenges.
  • Strong interest in and understanding of construction industry improvement agenda and the current

industry-standard and industry-leading use of digital technologies and data within infrastructure

  • Proficiency in Civil 3D for terrain modelling, surfaces, grading, alignments, corridors, and quantity

take-offs.

  • Hands-on experience or willingness to learn Blender3D as a core modelling tool for mesh

processing, surface reconstruction, and visual modelling workflows.

  • Familiarity with Navisworks or Solibri for model federation and coordination.
  • Experience working with survey data, point clouds, drone outputs, and geospatial datasets.
  • Understanding of GIS platforms (e.g. ArcGIS/QGIS) and data formats.
  • Strong grasp of BIM/CAD standards, data structuring, and digital workflows.
  • Ability to interpret engineering designs and translate them into coordinated, clash-tested 3D models.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving skills in a digital environment.
  • Collaborative mindset, with strong communication skills to support multi-disciplinary coordination.
  • Background in infrastructure, earthworks, or construction modelling is required.
  • Strong communication and influencing skills
  • Confident leading workstreams and working as part of a team.
  • Desirable some Project Management and Change Management experience
