Due to continued growth and the success of the Acciona business in Queensland, we are looking to add Digital Engineering resources to our team. This is an opportunity to submit an expression of interest to become part of our team.
The Digital Engineering Manager is required to deliver value driven outcomes for the program, enabling members of the Digital Engineering Team and wider stakeholders to have confidence in digital information. The success of the Digital Engineering Manager shall align with the Acciona Digital Engineering vision and the requirements set out in the Digital Engineering Management Plan.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a digital strategy and technology roadmap.
  • Create digital products and services for the project, delivering measurable customer outcomes.
  • Capture innovation and deliver digital solutions through design and construction.
  • Maintain digital auditing for quality assurance.
  • Complete Digital Briefs and establish governance for new projects.
  • Lead collaboration across development, project management, design, construction, and ICT.
  • Set standards for digital workflows and data models.
  • Support project teams in technology usage and innovation.
  • Capture lessons learned and drive continuous improvement.

Required Skills and Competencies

  • 10 years’ experience within engineering and construction industry.
  • Ideally 5 years’ experience applying various digital engineering processes and platforms within an engineering environment is essential.
  • Experience managing teams.
  • Problem solving capacity, including demonstrating soft and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience in implementing BIM / Digital Engineering on large projects.
  • Previous experience using and / or adapting to systems.
  • Knowledge of current Digital Engineering software solutions such as Bentley Microstation / Open series, Revit, Civil 3D, 12D, Navisworks, ITwins, Revizto etc.
  • Experience with Common / Connected Data Environments (i.e. ProjectWise / other) and the associated Technology Mapping.
