Nau mai haere mai ki tā mātou whānau | Welcome to our Fulton Hogan Family We’re looking for a Digital Engineering Specialist to join our Digital Engineering and Innovation team in Auckland. The Digital Engineering Specialist will be directly involved in collaborating and building solutions which help our teams understand and communicate activities in and around our construction projects. You’ll also be helping to support the growth of Digital Engineering workflows and processes utilising Survey, Spatial and BIM technology with the business and assist with new project development. In addition to the above you will: Creates, reviews and maintains CAD drawings, BIM models, visualisations and geospatial datasets. Oversee CAD drawings, 3D models, and geospatial information by managing content in common data environments. Supports delivery teams to plan and manage construction staging by using agreed models and validated data. Ensures deliverables align with Digital Engineering execution plans and client asset information requirements and facilitates the creation of as-built records. Work with delivery partners to standardise the creation of geospatially accurate 2D and 3D models, ensuring GIS, CAD, and BIM data compatibility by guiding the development of interoperable models. Gathers technical requirements and documents business processes that align with Digital Engineering execution plans and information management policies. Facilitates meetings between delivery teams, consultants and subcontractors to keep digital engineering processes efficient and aligned. We’re looking for someone with: Hold a Diploma or Degree in Engineering, Surveying, Computer Science, or a related discipline. Possess at least 3 years of experience in the construction sector, with relevant on-site exposure. Have a strong understanding of relevant industry standards, including NZ BIM Handbook and ISO 19650. Be proficient in using software such as Civil 3D, Revit, Navisworks, 12D model, or similar. Be competent in using and managing common data environments (CDE) like Autodesk Construction Cloud, Revizto, Trimble Connect, and ArcGIS Online.
