DIGITAL FACTORY - BUSINESS ANALYST INTERN

We are looking for a new colleague who will be part of our dynamic and rapidly growing digital team. Our team is driving a large portfolio of projects helping our different Service Lines in EY to build software applications/solutions through cutting edge technologies.
As a Business Analyst Intern you will support the Program Manager in a program of innovation and digitalization across a portfolio of services in collaboration with established teams and initiatives. Furthermore, you will be responsible for the support of the development and implementation of our digitalization strategies.

POSITION OVERVIEW

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Business Analyst Intern with a strong background in VBA (Visual Basic for Applications) and Power Apps. The successful candidate will work closely with our business analysts and IT teams to enhance and streamline various business processes using VBA and Power Apps. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic and collaborative environment.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of VBA and experience in developing VBA scripts for Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
  • Familiarity with Power Apps and the ability to design and build functional applications.
  • Basic understanding of business processes and data analysis.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

PREFERRED SKILLS:

  • Knowledge of relational databases and SQL.
  • Understanding of data visualization tools.
  • Previous internship or project experience related to VBA and Power Apps.
    Duration:This is a 6 month internship position with the possibility of extension based on performance and business needs.

Responsibilities
  • VBA Development:
  • Collaborate with business analysts to understand requirements and design VBA solutions that automate and optimize business processes.
  • Create, maintain, and troubleshoot VBA macros to enhance data analysis, reporting, and other business functions.
  • Power Apps Development:
  • Design and develop Power Apps solutions to address specific business needs and improve efficiency.
  • Work with stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure Power Apps align with business goals.
  • Data Analysis:
  • Utilize VBA for data manipulation, analysis, and reporting purposes.
  • Extract and transform data from various sources to provide meaningful insights.
  • Collaboration:
  • Work closely with business analysts, IT teams, and end-users to gather feedback and refine VBA and Power Apps solutions.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas to improve processes and systems.
  • Documentation:
  • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for VBA scripts and Power Apps solutions.
  • Ensure documentation is up-to-date and accessible to relevant team members.
