Digital Finance Manager

Location: Kilkenny or Citywest, Dublin (Hybrid)

Salary: €80,000 - €90,000 + 10% Bonus

A leading organisation is undertaking a major technology transformation and is building out its internal IT capability. As part of this journey, an exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Digital Finance Manager to lead and enhance the organisation's finance technology landscape.

This is a strategic leadership role that will work closely with Finance, IT, business stakeholders, and external partners to ensure critical finance systems support business growth, operational excellence, and regulatory compliance.

The Opportunity

Reporting into senior IT leadership, you will take ownership of key finance platforms including SAP, SAP FICO, Finance Consolidation, and Treasury systems, driving system optimisation, innovation, governance, and future-state architecture.

You will lead a team responsible for supporting finance operations across a large multi-site environment and play a key role in shaping the future of finance technology.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the management, support, and enhancement of SAP, SAP FICO, Finance Consolidation, and Treasury platforms.
• Partner with Finance and other business functions to ensure alignment across data, reporting, integrations, and business processes.
• Drive system upgrades, enhancements, and new functionality in line with business requirements and compliance standards.
• Support financial reporting, consolidation, treasury management, and process automation initiatives.
• Ensure the integrity, security, and confidentiality of financial data and systems.
• Manage user access, training, governance, and change management activities.
• Develop and maintain finance systems architecture, controls, and operational procedures.
• Manage relationships with external vendors and service providers, ensuring high levels of service delivery.
• Lead finance technology projects, ensuring successful delivery on time and within budget.
• Supervise and develop a Digital Finance team, setting priorities and ensuring high-quality execution.
• Contribute to the broader IT strategy and transformation roadmap.

About You

• Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Finance, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
• 5+ years' experience managing SAP environments, including SAP FICO, Finance Consolidation, and Treasury systems.
• Strong understanding of finance processes, reporting, controls, and regulatory requirements.
• Experience delivering system integrations, automation initiatives, and change management programs.
• Demonstrated leadership experience within a finance systems or digital finance function.
• Strong project management, stakeholder management, and vendor management capabilities.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate business requirements into technology solutions.
• Experience managing third-party vendors and technology partners.
• Relevant SAP, finance systems, or IT management certifications would be advantageous.
