Description Position Summary 1st shift Opening Tuesday through Friday: 4:55am-3:05pm Brook & Whittle is a leading North American provider of sustainable labeling solutions, partnering with top consumer brands and offering a collaborative, innovative culture where you can take pride in creating the labels you see on store shelves every day. We are currently seeking full-time Press Digital Finishers. This position will report directly to the Production Supervisor and will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating machines to ensure the highest quality labels are sent to customers. Pay and Benefits Pay: $24.10-$25.65/hour Competitive pay, medical benefits, life insurance, paid time off, 401(k) with company participation, and a wide range of elective company benefits Essential Functions and Responsibilities Effectively perform machine operations – converting post-press product into finished product by following job ticket instructions. Responsible for ensuring that machines are operating efficiently while producing product that conforms to quality standards. Accurately setup machines to cut and rewind to specific customer requirements. Perform and document quality checks to ensure compliance with company standards and customer specifications. Retrieve cores, boxes, and other supplies and materials for the machine and daily operation. Inspect equipment for defects and perform maintenance duties as necessary. Ability to read and understand written instructions and job tickets, as well as comprehend verbal instructions. Maintain a clean and organized workspace. Safely and efficiently perform all essential job functions in accordance with company policies and operating procedures. Participate in department meetings, training, and continuous improvement events. Serve as an example of what our company values most: innovation, respect, integrity, creativity and collaboration. All employees are to report food safety and quality issues to management. Performs other duties as assigned. Requirements Strong math skills and understanding of metric and standard measurements/ conversions. Detail-oriented and capable of following standard work instructions. Ability to learn quickly and adopt new technologies in a fast-paced environment. Operate safely and efficiently while producing high quality work. Capable of working independently and collaboratively with a team. Willingness to work overtime, rotating shifts, and weekends or holidays as needed Ability to distinguish color variations Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check Education and Experience HS Diploma or GED required. One (1) year of experience in the printing industry or label manufacturing industry is required. Experience with hot stamping, embossing, or spot coating experience is preferred, but not required. Physical Requirements & Environmental Conditions Manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, dust, dirt, and chemicals; OSHA safety standards enforced. Prolonged standing, walking, and repetitive tasks requiring bending, reaching, and stooping. Ability to operate equipment and visually inspect product. Must be able to lift / push / pull up to 100 lbs assisted. Work Authorization Must be eligible to work in the United States without restriction.
