Summary
We are looking for a “Digital Hardware Engineer (f/m/d)” for the “Radar Equipment Engineering” department at the Ulm site as soon as possible.
The “Radar Equipment Engineering” department is responsible for the design, development and delivery of digital mixed signal hardware subsystems and devices primarily for radar products.
The tasks range from requirements specification, design, realization to commissioning, testing, verification and qualification of assemblies or complex subsystems.

Your Tasks

  • Development of assemblies and circuit boards including circuit diagram creation and layout
  • Preparation of documentation
  • Participation in the design of device architectures and definition of requirements based on customer requirements in interdisciplinary development teams
  • Integration of individual assemblies into a device and its verification
  • Carrying out verification and qualification tests and creating documentation
  • Supporting SW, FW and system teams during device commissioning
  • Definition of tests for acceptance in production (acceptance test procedures)
  • Collaboration on concepts and offers

Your Profile

  • Completed studies in the field of electrical engineering or communications engineering or comparable scientific disciplines
  • Several years of professional experience in electronics development, commissioning and application of appropriate test equipment
  • Experience in the application of development standards and methods, as well as in requirements-based engineering
  • Very good knowledge of digital signal processing and embedded hardware and software
  • Independent and conscientious way of working as well as working in a team
  • Flexibility and high level of commitment
  • Very good knowledge of German and English
