YOUR PROFILE

  • A Master’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Media Studies, or a related field.
  • Initial work experience after graduation (combined e.g., internships, working student roles) in digital communications, employee communications, or social media.
  • A creative and strategic mindset with the ability to contribute to innovative communication approaches.
  • Basic project management skills, including planning, organization, and collaboration across teams and agencies.
  • Familiarity with digital tools, Office 365, analytics platforms, or AI-driven solutions is a big plus.
  • Strong creative and writing skills, with the ability to tailor messages to diverse audiences.
  • A proactive and curious mindset, eager to explore new trends and technologies – from intranet features to social media content.
  • Excellent English skills (German is a plus), with a knack for clear and compelling communication.
  • A collaborative approach and ability to adapt to a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

YOUR TASKS

As Digital Internal Communications Manager, you will be at the heart of ensuring Beiersdorf’s internal voice resonates across the organization. Your focus will be on fostering a sense of belonging and strengthening connections through engaging, meaningful content, impactful communication formats and best-in-class communication channels. As channel owner for our global intranet, you will constantly optimize the channel and implement new features and tools. In addition to internal communication, you will actively support Beiersdorf’s external social media channels by creating content, identifying relevant topics, and helping translate internal stories for external audiences. Leveraging data, technology, and AI-driven innovations, you will help shape a collaborative and effective workplace culture.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Digital Communication: Implement and optimize corporate communication initiatives across digital channels to ensure impactful communication on the right platforms.
  • Creative Content Development: Craft high-performing content primarily for internal audiences, aligned with Beiersdorf’s purpose and vision.
  • Community Management & Audience Engagement: Build, manage, and grow digital communities to foster engagement and accelerate employee sense of belonging. You think across platforms – social media experience is a plus here.
  • Internal Channels & Infrastructure: Strengthen internal communication infrastructure with a focus on the intranet as the primary platform for corporate messages.
  • Channel Guidance for internal Stakeholders: Provide strategic direction for internal communication and support for country-level communication teams, ensuring alignment and consistency in approach.
  • External Social Media Execution: Actively support Beiersdorf’s external corporate social media channels (such as LinkedIn) by, transforming internal stories into compelling external content.
  • Performance Monitoring: Use data-driven insights to evaluate and improve digital content(-formats).
  • AI Integration & Workplace Efficiency: Identify and implement AI-driven solutions to streamline processes, enhance team workflows, and drive efficiency in corporate communication.
