Description

ABOUT ARU POLICE EDUCATION:

ARU are partnered with The Metropolitan Police and the Seven Police Forces in the Eastern Region – Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire, Essex, Hertfordshire, Kent, Norfolk and Suffolk – to train the Police Officers of the future. We are delivering two of the new Police Constable Entry Routes (PCER) programmes: the Police Constable Degree Apprenticeship (PCDA) and the Degree Holder Entry Programme (DHEP) developed by the College of Policing.
This is a chance to be involved in shaping the Police Officers of the future and become part of an industry-leading team.
The PCER programmes aim to further professionalise policing as a career by both recognising and raising educational standards. New Police Constables will enrol with us on a three-year Police Constable Degree Apprenticeship (PCDA), which combines a degree programme with on-the-job training, while a two-year Degree Holder Entry Programme (DHEP) will be available for new recruits who already have a degree. We deliver these programmes at our Police partners’ training facilities alongside our police colleagues, and also at our dedicated Police Education facility in London.
