Role: Digital Manager– York
Salary: £45k- £55k per annum DOE

POSITION OVERVIEW:

Elevation Recruitment are collaborating with a leading company in the heart of York. Reporting to the head of marketing this role will involve overseeing and executing digital marketing strategies across various platforms to drive client engagement, brand awareness, lead generation, and organic growth.
The Digital Manager will provide the best client user experience across digital channels to support practices organic growth and will support online awareness and reputation across UK and Ireland.
The Digital Marketing Manager will lead a team of web designers, analytics, SEO and PPC executives in the UK, as well manage support agencies. They will provide direction and support to the Digital teams and agencies across Europe to ensure consistency and effectiveness.

SKILLS/ QUALIFICATIONS

  • Collaboration: across functions, ability to communicate and listen effectively and understand feedback
  • Communication: Great written and oral communication, presentation skills.
  • Project management: strong attention to details and ability to push complex projects through via coordinating various teams, checking and validating throughout the process for excellence in execution.
  • Experience of managing and developing a small team
  • Analytical and problem-solving: ability to use data to gain insights and drive decisions.

Responsibilities

Lead and develop the Digital Marketing team

  • Lead/coach/develop a team of 4 in the UK
  • Work in close collaboration with the wider Marketing team, the Communications and Design team to deliver best in practice digital initiatives
  • Provide direction, share and exchange best practices with countries’ Digital teams and agencies

Deliver a great online user experience and strong visibility to practices supporting organic growth

  • Manage and evolve +200 practices/businesses websites across the UK and Ireland
  • Optimise website effectiveness through analytics and SEO
  • A strong understanding and proven practical experience of building websites
  • Support practices growth through a strong, practical understanding and implementation of PPC activity
  • Share best practices across Europe

Drive awareness and reputation online

  • Management and ongoing development of the Corporate website (Group and UK and Ireland)
  • Including optimisation of content and functionalities

Manage the infrastructure and advance functionality and design

  • Manage and develop relationships with key agencies
  • Oversee the performance and effectiveness of the digital marketing tech stack
  • Partner with IT teams to translate business and marketing requirements while launching new functionality and tools as needed

Drive innovation

  • Regularly seek out knowledge and insights to improve and evolve the tech stack and processes
