About the Division The Legislative and Public Affairs Division coordinates government and external relations, including media outreach. The division is responsible for developing relationships with the legislature and stakeholders as well as promoting policy to ensure that the interests of the department and aging Ohioans are represented across the state and at the federal level. The division plans special events and recognitions and creates and distributes educational and informative publications across media. Staff handles constituent inquiries, maintains the department's website and social media presences, and operates the Golden Buckeye program and AGE’s main phone line. About the Role The Digital Manager manages the Department of Aging's (AGE) digital media presence across multiple digital and multimedia platforms, ensuring consistent, engaging, and accessible brand awareness and recognition. The key duties of this position include but are not limited to: Digital Strategy and Management: Developing and implementing a comprehensive visual communications strategy for web, digital, and social media platforms. Social Media: Creating and managing visually compelling content for social media channels, aligning with agency priorities and campaigns. Writing and Communications: Writing, editing, and proofreading content for platforms including the AGE website, social media, internal communications, and press releases. Graphic Design: Developing graphic design projects that support organizational goals. Other Duties: Performing other duties as assigned. To view the position description click here.
