Role Overview We are looking for a highly skilled Digital Marketing Executive with a strong background in journalism or media studies. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating high-quality video and graphic content, developing marketing campaigns, and ensuring the client maintains a strong digital footprint. This role requires a combination of creativity, analytics, and hands-on marketing execution. Key Responsibilities Content Creation & Editing: Develop high-quality video content that captures the excitement and energy of the park. Design visually appealing graphics for social media and other marketing channels using tools like Canva and Adobe Suite. Edit content to ensure it aligns with the brand’s identity and resonates with target audiences. Campaign Strategy & Execution: Plan, ideate, and execute digital campaigns tailored to different platforms (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, etc.). Monitor trends in the entertainment and theme park industry to inform content strategy. Collaborate with the marketing team to implement CRM-driven campaigns and promotions. Analytics & Reporting: Track, analyze, and report on campaign performance using Google Analytics, Meta Business Suite, and other relevant tools. Measure success based on engagement, reach, conversions, and audience growth. Recommend improvements and optimize campaigns based on data insights. Influencer & Community Engagement: Identify, reach out, and collaborate with relevant influencers and brand ambassadors. Engage with online communities and encourage user-generated content. Represent Wild Waters in- person at promotional events or street activations when needed. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, operations, and customer experience teams to align campaigns with business objectives. Maintain consistent communication with external agencies and internal stakeholders. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Mass Communication, or Media (mandatory). Minimum 2-3 years of proven hands-on experience in digital marketing, content creation, or social media management. Proficient in Canva, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, CapCut, or other relevant tools. Experience in video content creation, editing, and storytelling. Familiarity with social media analytics and digital marketing KPIs. Understanding of CRM tools (Zoho, Mailchimp, etc.) and influencer marketing strategies. Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills. Creative, outgoing, and comfortable engaging with audiences both online and offline. Industry experience: Prior experience in entertainment, leisure, tourism, or hospitality brands is highly desirable Portfolio of past work demonstrating content creation, campaigns, graphics, and video projects. Desired Attributes Highly adaptable and able to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously. Strong sense of visual aesthetics and brand storytelling. Results-driven with a focus on engagement, reach, and conversion. Willingness to relocate to or work in Mombasa long-term ,the role is on-site.
