MARKETING ASSISTANT - DIGITAL

Join a dynamic marketing team in Beacon Hospital, Sandyford, South Dublin. It’s one of Europe’s most innovative and technologically advanced private hospitals with over 1700 staff working together as a team to deliver exceptional patient care. Help us to creatively communicate to patients, GPs, staff and the general public about all the new and innovative services we have to offer.
The Marketing Assistant will work within the Marketing Team and will be involved in all aspects of the hospital’s marketing activity including consumer advertising, leaflet design and production, staff communications, social media, website, hospital newsletters and more.
The ideal candidate will have a qualification in Marketing or related field, have strong writing skills and be highly organised.

JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Website - assisting with the hospital’s main website ensuring that content is accurate, displayed correctly and kept up-to-date. Writing new content and refreshment of existing content as required.
  • Social Media - Assisting with our social media platforms including generating new content that is relevant, engaging and informative.
  • Staff Comms - Writing content for our staff comms updates - including for staff newsletters and emails, production of notices for staff areas.
  • Consumer and GP Newsletters and e-marketing - assisting with content, creation and production of our GP and Consumer Newsletters and e-mail marketing.
  • Design & Print - producing new leaflets and literature (print & digital) for the hospital. Liaising with each department for content, graphic design company for design and Procurement for printing requirements.
  • Administrative Tasks - Assisting with the daily administrative tasks associated with the running of the department including PO requests, stationary ordering etc.
  • Campaigns - assisting the Team with creation of new advertising campaigns.
  • Budget - working closely with the rest of the marketing team to manage the marketing budget to ensure that all marketing activity and purchase orders are within budget.
  • Event Support & Coverage - assisting with our many different company events such as regular GP conferences, staff awareness days, Nurses Day, staff social events, sporting sponsorships and charity balls.
  • Creativity - bringing new and creative ideas to a team that is always open to trying new and exciting marketing methods!

SKILL SET

  • Degree in marketing or related qualification
  • Strong writing skills and attention to detail
  • Experience with Social Media Management
  • Experience with Wordpress a plus
  • Creative and a real passion for marketing
  • Confident, self-starter with the ability to engage with people on all levels
  • Excellent organisational skills and advanced in excel, word and PowerPoint
  • Ability to think outside of the box and come up with new and creative marketing ideas.
  • Good at photography, videography and graphic design is a bonus.
