DIGITAL MARKETING ASSISTANT

Overview
Would you like to join one of Ireland’s leading tourist attractions? Emerald Park are now looking for an experienced Digital Marketing Assistant to work within our marketing team.
With a combination of theme park rides, a large zoo area, petting farm, family entertainment and great food offerings, it is one of Ireland’s most visited family attractions.
Please note this role is Full time onsite.
Responsibilities
· Social Media Management - Manage social media organic and paid advertising. Generate interesting, relevant, and on-brand content.
· Delivery of Social Content Calendar - Create, plan and co-ordinate creative social media content.
· Content Management & Creation – Manage / build content and direct structure for various digital channels. Responsible for delivery of photo and video assets and ensuring content bank is up to date.
· Digital Marketing Strategy - Implement the overall digital marketing strategy for the park, including planning and implementing marketing campaigns across multiple channels.
· Analytical Reporting & Presentation Skills - Provide detailed reporting and presentations using various analytical tools to track campaign performance and effectiveness of all digital marketing activity. Including recommendations for improvement.
· Email Marketing - Design and optimise email marketing campaigns. Segment audiences based on targeted campaigns.
· SEM & SEO - Manage and oversee relevant and targeted campaigns, including keyword research, optimisation and implementation.
· Reputation Management - Manage online reputation via review websites.
· Creativity – Bring new and creative ideas to the team and open to trying new and exciting marketing methods.
CRM tool – Daily management of all aspects of CRM system including contact management, audience list segmentation, email marketing, automations and reporting.
Content Marketing - Create relevant and engaging images and video-based content.
· Website & CMS – Management of website including regular content and asset updates.
· Copywriting – Create engaging and relevant copywriting for multiple digital channels, campaigns and promotions.
· PR activity – Involvement in PR activity and planning throughout the calendar year, including creative feedback from a digital standpoint and management of day-to-day PR activities.
· Cross Departmental Support –Working with various departments within the business ensuring all digital collateral is updated and invoking creative ideas for online platforms.
· Events – Working with events team to organise and develop fresh concepts for new and existing events.
· Ad-Hoc Projects – As required.
Candidate Requirements
We are looking for someone that is fun, energetic and enthusiastic about all things digital marketing. This is an exciting opportunity for a creative professional looking to be part of an engaging and unique brand.

Requirements:

  • Third level qualification in Digital Marketing.
  • Minimum 2-3 years’ experience in a similar role.
  • Experienced in building online advertising campaigns.
  • Experience in budget analysis and quantifying campaign success is imperative.
  • Experience with design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Excellent knowledge and practical experience in managing SEO/SEM, marketing databases, email marketing, GA4, social media and/or display advertising campaigns.
  • Experience with a content management system such as Wordpress or similar. Role will involve regular content and asset updates of the website including a blog.
  • Experience of using Hubspot or a similar CRM system.
  • Experienced in content creation and copywriting (for website, social media content, brochures etc.)
  • Photography or Videography background a distant advantage.
  • Highly organised individual with ability to work on own initiative and effectively work to deadlines.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • A strong team player who enjoys working in a fast-paced team environment. Ability to work well with others both internal and external to the business is a must.
  • Genuine interest for all things digital and keeping track of trends and topics within the industry. Previous marketing experience within a tourist attraction is a plus, but not essential.
