SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

Required:

  • Basic understanding of digital marketing principles (SEO, email marketing, analytics).
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and proficiency in MS Office.

Desirable:

  • Experience with Email Marketing Systems (EMS).
  • Familiarity with Content Management Systems (CMS).
  • Knowledge of Google Analytics and CRM systems.

Responsibilities

THE ROLE

The Digital Marketing Assistant will provide essential support to the digital marketing team, ensuring the smooth delivery of campaigns, projects, and digital initiatives. This role combines technical, administrative, and creative responsibilities, making it ideal for someone with strong organisational skills, attention to detail, a passion for digital marketing and technological advancements.
This role is to be based in either our Manchester or Leeds office.

THE RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide administrative, technical, and project support for digital activities, including updating websites, blogs, email marketing, SEO/PPC, and video/podcasts.
  • Assist with the delivery of new digital projects and campaigns, from creating blogs and microsites to supporting website upgrades and system rollouts.
  • Troubleshoot user issues, manage access rights, and help test developer fixes.
  • Develop and enhance website content for SEO and GEO optimisation to improve rankings on Google and AI-driven search results.
  • Regularly update and review website content using the CMS, ensuring accuracy and brand consistency.
  • Support the creation and delivery of email marketing campaigns, including building templates, managing mailing lists, and tracking performance.
