Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Digital Marketing Assistant to join our dynamic Marketing team. Working closely with the team, this role will be responsible for supporting and contribute to the development and execution of various digital marketing initiatives, with a focus on improving the firm’s online presence. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of digital marketing principles and a passion for staying up-to-date with industry trends.

Key Responsibilities:

  • SEO Support:
  • Assist in conducting competitive analysis.
  • Perform on-page SEO optimisation, including meta descriptions, title tags, and header tags.
  • Support the development and implementation of link-building strategies.
  • Monitor and report on website performance using Google Analytics and Google Search Console.
  • Assist in conducting audits and identifying areas for improvement.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest SEO trends and algorithm updates.
  • Ensure business listings and citations are accurate and up to date.
  • Content Support:
  • Assist in the creation and optimisation of website content, blog posts, and other digital assets.
  • Ensure content is aligned with SEO best practices and target keywords.
  • Assist with content editing and proofreading.
  • Analytics and Reporting:
  • Generate regular reports on website traffic, keyword rankings, and other key SEO metrics.
  • Analyse data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
  • Assist in the creation of performance reports.
  • Manage and maintain our digital marketing tools and platforms
  • General Digital Marketing Support:
  • Assist with social media management, email marketing, and other digital marketing initiatives as needed.
  • Support the Head of Marketing – Direct Services with various projects and tasks.
  • Assist with the creation of marketing materials.
  • Maintain organised files and documentation.

REQUIRED SKILLS OR QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • A strong understanding of digital marketing principles and SEO.
  • Experience with content management systems (CMS) like WordPress.
  • Proficient with SEO tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, or Ahrefs (preferred).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • A passion for digital marketing and a desire to learn and a creative mindset
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in digital marketing

DESIRED SKILLS:

  • Knowledge of social media marketing and email marketing.
  • Basic design skills.
  • Certification in digital marketing
  • Experience with email marketing platforms (e.g., Mailchimp)
