WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR

We’re seeking a creative and organized Digital Marketing & Content Specialist with a passion for storytelling. This is a full-time, permanent, in-person position based at our Support Office (D100 – 2261 Keating X Road, Saanichton, BC, V8M 2A).

Responsibilities

As part of our Central Operations team, you’ll play a key role in creating and managing content that strengthens our digital presence and builds loyalty across Peninsula Co-op and The Liquor Co. 1977. In this role, you will:

  • Create original, on-brand content for multiple platforms — from photos, videos, and animations to captions, short-form writing, and graphics.
  • Capture and edit visuals monthly at our stores, fuel sites, and community events, ensuring every touchpoint reflects our brand.
  • Edit and adapt creative assets, including campaign materials, user-generated content, and motion graphics.
  • Manage the day-to-day activity on our social media channels, including posts, reels, and stories.
  • Lead digital community engagement by responding to comments, messages, and mentions, and identifying opportunities for influencer partnerships and local collaborations.
  • Support and format weekly email campaigns, ensuring content is timely and engaging.
  • Keep our websites current through WordPress updates and manage retail promotions through Google Ads.
  • Track and monitor performance across platforms, prepare monthly reports highlighting top-performing content, and recommend improvements based on trends and insights.
  • Assist with testing and reporting to continuously strengthen campaign results.
