Position Overview RecruitGo is seeking a hands-on Digital Marketing Country Manager to lead its expansion in the Philippines. This is not a corporate manager role — we are looking for a player-coach who can both strategize and execute. You will be the face in Manila, bridging our Thai HQ strategies with the Filipino market. The role involves building local operations from the ground up, hiring your team, and driving client acquisition to establish and grow our presence. Responsibilities 1. Operational Setup & Compliance Lead the initial business setup: Coordinate with our legal/accounting partners to finalize SEC registration, BIR (Tax) compliance, and local banking. Establish the remote-first infrastructure: Set up our virtual office, payroll systems, and communication channels. Serve as the primary signatory and representative for government and bank interactions. 2. Business Development & Client Acquisition Localize our service offerings: Adapt our Thai case studies and pitch decks to resonate with Filipino corporate clients. Lead the sales process: Identify, pitch, and close deals with local conglomerates, real estate firms, and MNCs. Network: Represent the agency at industry events in BGC/Makati to build brand visibility. 3. Team Building & Culture Hire the founding team: Source and interview our first creative and technical hires (Copywriters, Media Buyers, Designers). Bridge the culture: Act as the cultural translator between the Thai HQ and the Filipino team, ensuring smooth communication and expectations. What We Offer: Autonomy: You are not a cog in a machine. Qualifications Who We Are Looking For: You are an ambitious person who is aiming for more than Account Manager or Head; you want to build your own digital agency with the ease of doing everything alone, but with concepts, materials, internal systems, and what is working or not working. We are looking for a lifelong partner to dominate the Philippines together, as we do in Thailand. You currently work as a Senior Account Manager, Group Head, or Operations Manager at a digital agency in the Philippines. You understand the pace of agency life. You are strategic enough to talk to CEOs, but humble enough to handle administrative paperwork or troubleshoot a Zoom link. No task is "below your pay grade." You have excellent English proficiency to communicate effectively with the Thai HQ. You have an existing network of potential partners or clients in Metro Manila (preferred, not required). Must-Have: 5+ years of experience in Digital Marketing / Advertising. Strong understanding of the PH digital landscape (Social, SEO, Paid Media). Comfortable working remotely (must have a reliable home office & internet). Proximity: Must live within a reasonable commuting distance to BGC for weekly management meetings and client visits. 8+ years in a digital marketing agency with strong proficiency in SEO, SEM, and Social Media Ads.
