Our Digital Marketing Degree Apprenticeship is a development scheme designed to give you all the tools you need to begin your career in Digital Marketing. We’re passionate about watching our colleagues grow, that’s why internal progression has an integral part to play in all our colleagues’ development. The four-year scheme will make sure you’re challenged, supported, and will give you plenty of room to grow. You will be buddied up with a capable colleague in our Digital Marketing team, who were once in your shoes, so feel confident that you will learn from the best.
The Digital Marketing department is responsible for planning, executing and overseeing our digital marketing strategies to increase revenue and engagement. The department focuses on digital channels, including search engines (paid ads and organic listings), paid social, affiliates and email. It works closely with the Digital Trade, Insights & Analytics, Brand Marketing, Finance and Creative departments to ensure the marketing initiatives are aligned with business objectives and effectively targeted to the right audience. The team is dynamic, innovative, and constantly evolving to adapt to the fast-changing digital landscape.

Over the four years, you will learn and experience every aspect of working as in Digital Marketing. At the end of the four years, you will be able to consider several different career routes, for example, Paid Search Executive, SEO Executive, Paid Social. Alongside this, you will be enrolled on to a Level 6 Digital Marketing Degree Apprenticeship – equivalent to a bachelor’s degree.

• Out of your 40-hour working week - 34 hours will be spent working in the role and six hours will be for dedicated learning.
• This role will be three days in the office (minimum) and two days at home.
• You will receive support from your Line Manager and Learning and Development team. In addition, you’ll receive dedicated support from Solent University for the qualification which will typically take four years to complete.
• The learning will take a blended approach consisting of remote and face to face visits at Nottingham Trent University

You will:

• Assist in the creation and execution of digital marketing campaigns across various platforms (social media, Google Ads, email, etc.).
• Support the development of SEO techniques to improve website ranking and performance.
• Assist in the optimisation of Dunelm’s Paid Social activity.
• Help create and optimise email marketing campaigns.
• Monitor and report on campaign performance and suggest improvements.
• Collaborate with other teams including Trade, Creative and Brand Marketing to drive performance.
• Be an active contributor to the Digital Marketing team.
• Support the Data Analytics team in tracking KPIs and ensuring campaign objectives are met.
