SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Proven experience in social media management is essential
  • Proven experience with design software and programs such as InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop.
  • Excellent knowledge and application of social media best practices across all platforms (Instagram, Facebook, Tik Tok, LinkedIn, Spotify) and integration with other platforms
  • Knowledge of AI and ideally experience of using AI to enhance marketing
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with an eye for detail
  • Proficiency in using social media management tools and analytics platforms
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Creative mindset with a passion for storytelling through digital content
  • Website building knowledge

Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE

The Digital Marketing Designer will be focussed on designing and delivering strong digital communications across the marketing mix, with a key focus on website development and social media platforms. Reporting to the Marketing Manager this role requires a proven track record in digital marketing, website content management systems and experience of designing marketing literature. We will consider part time or full time and the role will be hybrid, working some days at our office in Castlethorpe.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Design and produce marketing materials, across a range of media including large format, posters, adverts, leaflets and social media, promotional merchandise, infographics, website, and bi-monthly newsletter
  • Manage print, photography, and image libraries contacts and related files ensuring these are suitably stored and backed up
  • Monitor social media channels for trends, comments and feedback; responding promptly to user enquiries and comments
  • Publish website content, ensuring engaging and SEO-friendly communications, including blog posts, website copy, new stories to name a few and recommend changes to ensure optimum exposure
  • Take ownership of social media platforms, ensuring content is scheduled and posted throughout the week
  • Track and measure performance of social media, gaining insights into how content, strategy and process might be improved
  • Manage online content that aligns with our brand values and resonates with our target audience
  • Protect and enhance our brand reputation across multiple social media platforms
  • Monitor and analyse website content performance metrics, such as website traffic, engagement rates and conversions
  • Identify ways to improve website user experience
  • Stay up to date with digital marketing trends and best practices, and make recommendations for how to apply them to our marketing strategy
  • Introduce the use of AI across Acorn to enhance and improve our marketing strategy
  • Support with general marketing activities
