Our partner is a leading hospitality group with a diverse portfolio of unique concepts that tell a story about a particular time, place, and culture. This highly creative and entrepreneurial group is recognised globally and they are actively expanding within Hong Kong and overseas. They are currently seeking an exceptional digital expert to join their growing team of creatives. The Head of Digital will lead the strategic development of the group’s digital marketing landscape. They will be responsible for spearheading digital activations from concept to execution in alignment with the group’s objectives. Working within a larger Communications/Marketing team and collaborating across Design, Business Development, and other teams, this individual will deliver traffic, revenue, and engagement and continuously attract and retain guests with a focus on ROI. Key Missions Include: Planning and spearheading the execution of the overarching digital marketing strategy across websites, EDMs, content, paid media (Google and Facebook) and KOLs; Planning, implementing, and measuring the effectiveness of digital marketing campaigns by tracking and reporting performance on Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics and Facebook Manager; Leading by example while ensuring the team is continuously upholding and exceeding the standards to achieve a best-in-class digital marketing strategy; Reporting on content KPIs across all channels, including campaign analyses, forecasting and monitoring; Developing insight-driven recommendations; Collaborating closely with various creative and operations teams to manage simultaneous projects. Developing email marketing campaigns and managing marketing templates; Overseeing copywriting, editing and management of digital platforms, taking ownership of content, maintenance and overall performance; Liaising with digital agencies, producing digital briefs and aligning budgets; Ensuring the team is maintaining current information on all digital platforms, including: business hours, menus, images, content, etc.; Providing overall asset management from reviewing copy, imagery and files to improving websites UX (desktop/mobile views, load speed, readability); Managing metadata, tags, keywords implementation on websites to improve SEO; Ensuring the team escalates any front and backend issues for troubleshooting; Overseeing the archiving of digital assets and storage management; Continuously evaluating emerging technologies, providing recommendations and guidance for adoption where appropriate. We seek individuals with: A clear career progression, with 5+ years of experience in digital marketing management; Experience leading a team, managing competing priorities, and using metrics to drive business decisions; Strong knowledge in digital software including: WordPress, Google Analytics and Squarespace; Excellent knowledge of Search Engine Optimization (SEO), PPC, and email marketing; Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills in English (written and verbal); Strong analytical and quantitative skills, ability to utilise data to develop and measure campaign performance; Ability to manipulate data in order to perform both high level and granular analysis; A strong passion for restaurants and food & beverage!
