Responsibilities

OVERALL PURPOSE:

The Digital Marketing & eCommerce Assistant supports the Digital Manager and Head of eCommerce in maintaining and optimising the online customer experience. The role involves managing website updates, providing reporting and data analysis, supporting platform migrations, handling sales requests through online chat options and ensuring consistency in online content, all while upholding the company’s brand values and digital strategy.
The role offers the opportunity to engage in diverse projects across digital marketing and eCommerce, providing exposure to strategic initiatives, omnichannel reporting, and process enhancements.

RESPONSIBLE FOR:

  • Maintain and update website content, including product pages, promotional banners, and FAQs.
  • Conduct regular website audits to ensure accuracy and optimise the customer journey.
  • Manage and refresh content, including buying guides, delivery tabs, and lifestyle imagery.
  • Execute content uploads for seasonal promotions, product launches, and category updates.
  • Monitor and action stock reserve reports, ensuring timely allocation adjustments.
  • Investigate and resolve errors from the eCommerce platform, ensuring seamless customer transactions.
  • Support HubSpot workflows, segmentation, and automation processes.
  • Collaborate on Shopify migration tasks and other platform enhancements.
  • Provide omnichannel tracking support and assist in reporting for D2C activities
  • Generate regular reports on digital performance, and work with channel head and digital manager to provide actionable insights to key senior stakeholders.
  • Audit and manage third-party content integrations, including Flixmedia and YouTube assets.
  • Assist in creating promotional landing pages and announcement banners.
  • Engage in competitor analysis and market research to ensure Smeg is always aligned with market best practice & consumer expectations.
  • Ensure the brand’s visual and editorial standards are maintained across all online platforms.
