The Digital Marketing Specialist – ESA (B2B Focus) will be responsible for designing, executing, and managing digital marketing and eCommerce initiatives across Schneider Electric’s English-speaking Africa cluster. The role is B2B-focused, targeting business customers, distributors, partners, and professional buyers across industries. The incumbent will drive Schneider Electric’s digital footprint, lead digital campaign execution, and accelerate online commercial growth across Schneider-owned and partner marketplaces. This role requires a strong understanding of digital ecosystems, analytics, and eCommerce operations, combined with a proven ability to deliver measurable business results in a complex, multi-market B2B environment. The role will have a regional scope, with responsibility across Southern, East, and West Africa, and will collaborate closely with cross-functional marketing, commercial, and digital teams. What will you do? Develop and execute integrated B2B digital marketing strategies aligned with business priorities and customer journeys. Manage paid, owned, and earned media campaigns across search, display, social, and email channels. Optimize automated workflows and lead nurturing using Salesforce Marketing Cloud and CDP segmentation. Oversee SEO/SEM strategies, tagging, metadata, and website optimization for improved visibility. Track and analyze performance using Google Analytics, Contentsquare, and conversion funnel insights. Lead digital media buying, budget allocation, and ROI measurement; manage agency relationships. Drive eCommerce strategy across marketplaces, focusing on traffic growth, conversion, and revenue. Implement cross-sell/upsell campaigns, promotions, and keyword optimization for B2B segments. Ensure catalogue accuracy, UX improvements, and technical content optimization for online platforms. Monitor KPIs for digital and e-commerce initiatives, adopting emerging trends and tools for continuous improvement. Key Deliverables: Improved digital campaign performance and ROI. Increased B2B eCommerce traffic, conversion, and sales. Enhanced keyword rankings and online visibility across all marketplaces. Optimized marketplace operations and content accuracy. Strengthened customer engagement and retention through personalized digital journeys. Effective collaboration with Offer and Channel Marketing teams. Dotted line reporting: Channel Marketing Lead, English-Speaking Africa Works closely with: Offer Marketing, Channel Marketing, Sales, Communications, IT, Regional Digital Hubs, Marketing Business Partners, and external agencies. External stakeholders: Direct and Indirect Partners, Partner marketplaces, technology vendors, and media agencies. What qualifications will make you successful for this role? Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, eCommerce, Digital Marketing, or related discipline. Minimum 8 years’ experience in Digital Marketing and eCommerce within a B2B multinational or technology-driven organization. Deep understanding of African markets, particularly Southern Africa, Kenya, and Nigeria. Proven expertise with Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Customer Data Platform (CDP), Contentsquare, Webmaster tools, Google Analytics, Google Ads (certified), and Digital media buying and agency management. Solid experience managing and optimizing eCommerce platforms, marketplaces, and partner ecosystems. Proficiency in SEO/SEM, analytics, and web conversion optimization. Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills. Analytical and data-driven mindset with commercial acumen. Excellent written and verbal communication.
