Job Summary:
US Equity Advantage is seeking an experienced digital marketing engineer with a deep knowledge of marketing and a deep knowledge of internet technology and its uses. As a member of the marketing team this position will function as the technology expert on all digital marketing platforms. This position will be responsible for executing marketing strategies on applicable platforms.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for applying web technology and digital marketing platforms for the purpose of achieving marketing business goals.
  • Develop or modify custom applications to meet distinct and changing business requirements.
  • Responsible for designing, developing, testing, and implement efficient, cost effective application development solutions in context of email/sms/push marketing, search engine optimization, campaign management, data feeds, enhanced customer recognition and deep linking.
  • Perform regular code reviews to arrive at quality solutions.
  • Optimize quality of websites, user experience/conversion rate of our webpages.
  • Partner with DevOps team to establish continuous integration / continuous deployment approach on both on-premises and cloud deployments.
  • Develop and improve landing page templates based on user data.
  • Automate various marketing tasks and email marketing.

Education and Experience Required:

  • Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Information Systems, Marketing, or equivalent
  • Marketing experience: 2 years minimum
  • Web Development: 4 years minimum

Knowledge and Skills:

  • HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Bootstrap, JQuery
  • WordPress and CMS type systems in general; knowledge of Sitefinity a plus
  • Angular; other javascript framework experiences a plus
  • Table-less, responsive design
  • UI/UX modeling tools like Envision or similar
  • Must be comfortable building applications that are cross-browser, cross-device (desktop/tablet/mobile), W3C compliant, secure, performant, and address accessibility concerns
  • Ability to write HTML, CSS, and Javascript by hand without a framework as needed
  • Experience connecting UI framework to backend systems and internal and/or external APIs
  • Multi-platform development, cross-platform, and cross-device testing experience

Other Skills Desirable:

  • Photoshop experience for producing assets from source design materials
  • Current on UI/UX technologies and design trends
  • Awareness of web accessibility standards
  • Experience with Tag management solutions (such as Google tagmanager) is desired.
  • Experience with Marketing platforms including: E-Mail services Providers, CRO (Conversion Rate Optimization), Google Analytics, and CRM systems.
  • Experience with landing page builder platforms (e.g. UnBounce, Landingpages.io, etc…)
  • Basic understanding of web crawlers, website indexing tools, SEO impact of design/development, and related platforms like Google Search Console.
  • Cybersecurity awareness: security certification is a plus.
  • .Net development is a plus
