SUMMARY

We are seeking a passionate, organised, and dynamic Digital & Social Media Marketing Executive to work across our portfolio of regional, national, and international projects and clients as well as our own business, Associate Events.
This role also involves managing a portfolio of clients, ensuring their digital and social objectives are achieved whilst delivering outstanding service throughout the contract lifecycle.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone with previous experience in digital marketing and social media who is looking to develop their expertise within a dynamic agency environment.
The role will focus on creating engaging content, managing social media platforms, analysing campaign performance, and executing digital strategies that drive audience engagement and business growth.
You will play an essential role in delivering innovative and impactful campaigns that align with the company and client objectives. These campaigns will focus on growing online communities, increasing brand awareness, driving conversions, and enhancing digital presence through effective marketing strategies.

  • A degree or equivalent qualification in marketing, advertising or communications
  • Strong knowledge of social media platforms, content creation, and audience engagement strategies.
  • Experience in managing and growing digital communities across various social platforms.
  • Recent proven experience of working in the UK market
  • Understanding of SEO principles and best practices.
  • Experience in paid social media advertising and PPC campaign management.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret digital marketing data and provide insights.
  • Familiarity with Google Analytics, Meta Business Suite, and other digital performance tracking tools.
  • Ability to create engaging, high-quality content tailored to different audience segments.
  • Proven skills and experience in strong copywriting for digital media and editing skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
  • Support the Senior Digital Marketing Manager in executing digital marketing strategies across various platforms for a whole host of clients
  • Plan, develop, and manage social media content across multiple channels (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, X, etc.).
  • Assist in the creation and scheduling of engaging digital content, including graphics, videos, blog posts, and email marketing campaigns.
  • Optimise website content and SEO to improve visibility and rankings on search engines.
  • Implement paid digital advertising campaigns, including PPC, social media ads, and Google Ads.
  • Analyse key metrics and create reports to track the effectiveness of campaigns and provide actionable insights.
  • Build, nurture and manage client relationships, providing strategic guidance, addressing concerns, and ensuring expectations are met throughout the contract lifecycle. Provide operational leadership in day-to-day campaign management, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Conduct market research to identify trends, audience behaviour, and opportunities for growth.
  • Collaborate with the design and content teams to ensure brand consistency across all digital platforms.
  • Engage with online communities and respond to customer queries to enhance brand interaction and reputation.
  • Monitor and analyse competitor activity to stay ahead of industry trends and best practices.
  • Assist in influencer collaborations and digital partnerships to expand brand reach and engagement.
  • Seek to identify and maximise opportunities for additional work through clients and contacts with a view to nurturing and growing AE’s business
  • Represent the company at client meetings, presentations, networking sessions and events as required.
