PERSON
Knowledge: A graduate, preferably in Marketing or Media, you will have 2-3 years’ digital marketing experience, preferably with a focus on lead generation. You should have experience of creating both written content (Blogs, social posts etc) and design work (Marketing collateral etc). Experience of – or interest in –sustainability is welcomed but not essential.
Attitude: You should be driven to succeed, very hard-working and extremely tenacious. You should be enthusiastic about work, coming to the office each day with a smile, a kind word and the energy to make things happen.
Skills: Good range of digital marketing skills with excellent written and spoken English. We’re looking for a quick learner who is happy working alone at times as well as being part of the team when needed. Sales and marketing work closely together so you’ll have plenty of support. Strong IT skills, preferably with experience of working with data through a CRM, are required as well as proven skills in at least one design software package.
Habits: Well-organised and hard-working, you should be happy to work independently to drive marketing initiatives forward (though you’ll be given plenty of support too!).
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
Adobe Suite - Especially InDesign, Illustrator, and Acrobat.
Graphic Design - Brochures, business proposals, labels, stickers, spec sheets, SocMed.
Website - Experience in website CMS to edit site content and assist with new website development.
Self-motivated - Able to present ideas/campaigns to directors.
Google Ads – Existing campaign up and running already, experience required for seamless continuity.
Content - Creation of blogs, case studies, press releases, sponsors, newsletters, etc.
Public Relations - Writing awards bids, proofreading, attending and planning events.
Social Media - Knowledge of social media and to create eye-catching posts in Adobe.
Creative - An ability to think outside the box and differently to the competition.
Organised - Busy role, that requires organisation to remain on top of multiple projects.
Your role will involve raising the profile of HSG in the minds of our target clients. Through targeted campaigns via email and social media along with the improvement of our website, your efforts will increase awareness of our brand and generate qualified leads for our sales team to contact. Though focused on digital marketing, there will be some time spent on brochures and other hard copy marketing collateral. With full support from senior management along with the autonomy to make decisions about how to improve our marketing performance, we will give you the opportunity to grow your career and develop a whole new department in our fast-growing company.
