The Opportunity

This is an opportunity for a Digital Marketing Executive to join a well established UK based B2B business operating within the industrial and engineering sector, with a strong reputation for quality, technical expertise and customer service.

This is a varied and hands-on role within a busy marketing team, with a particular focus on social media content, SEO and managing website content through WordPress. You'll have the opportunity to work across a broad range of digital marketing activity, supporting campaigns that generate awareness, engagement and new business opportunities.

The role covers a lot of different areas of marketing, so we're not expecting the finished article. We're looking for someone with a good foundation in digital marketing who is enthusiastic, commercially minded and keen to learn. If you're someone who picks things up quickly, enjoys getting stuck into new challenges and can manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment, this could be an excellent opportunity to develop your career with a supportive Marketing Manager.

You'll work closely with sales, operations and senior stakeholders, giving you the opportunity to see how marketing activity directly contributes to wider business objectives.

  • Salary up to £32k
  • Office based with 1day working from home after 6 months

Key Responsibilities

  • Social media & content - Manage and develop social media presence, creating engaging content that increases brand awareness and customer engagement.
  • SEO - Support the development and implementation of SEO activity, using data and insight to improve website visibility, organic performance and lead generation.
  • Website management - Manage and update website content through WordPress, including creating and maintaining landing pages and ensuring content remains accurate, engaging and aligned with SEO best practice.
  • Campaign management - Support the planning, delivery and optimisation of integrated digital marketing campaigns across multiple channels.
  • Content creation - Create compelling written and visual content across social media, websites, email and other digital channels, maintaining a consistent brand identity and tone of voice.
  • Digital advertising - Support paid digital activity, including PPC and social advertising, helping to optimise campaigns and improve performance.
  • Creative marketing - Produce marketing assets including graphics, presentations, brochures, advertisements and other collateral using tools such as Adobe Creative Suite and Canva.
  • Performance & reporting - Monitor campaign and website performance using tools such as Google Analytics and Search Console, providing insight and recommendations to improve future activity.
  • Events & launches - Support product launches, exhibitions, branch openings and company events, helping to deliver engaging marketing activity around key business initiatives.

About You

Ideally you will have around 2 years' experience within a digital marketing or marketing executive role, with a good understanding of how different digital channels work together.

We're particularly interested in candidates with strong experience across social media, SEO and website content management, ideally including hands-on experience with WordPress.

You'll be a creative and proactive marketer who enjoys producing content but is equally comfortable looking at data, understanding performance and making improvements based on what you find.

Experience in a B2B, industrial, engineering or technical environment would be advantageous, but isn't essential. What's important is that you're commercially minded, enthusiastic and keen to make a measurable contribution.
