THE OPPORTUNITY

Distribution, BlueScope Australia is looking for a Digital Marketing Lead to join the National Marketing team based in either Northgate QLD or Clayton South VIC. The Distribution business includes Orrcon Steel Distribution, BlueScope Distribution, Metalcorp and Impact Steel.
In this dynamic role, you will play a key role in supporting the national marketing team by leading the digital marketing strategy, ensuring the Distribution business maintains a strong market digital presence and delivering high quality customer communication.
You’ll work alongside a supportive, experienced, and diverse team where your ideas and contribution will be valued and encouraged. Based in either our Northgate or Westall office, you will have access to free on-site parking, access to health and wellbeing initiatives including Fitness Passport and Employee Assistance Program (EAP).

Responsibilities

As a valued team member of the marketing team, you will be responsible for:

  • social media management – develop and execute comprehensive social media content in line with our strategic growth plan
  • content creation and management – create compelling content which convey the Distribution’s value proposition
  • email marketing campaigns – plan, execute targeted email marketing campaigns to nurture leads and promote key initiatives
  • analytics and reporting - monitor and analyse KPI’s to evaluate the effectiveness of communication initiatives
  • search engine optimisation (SEO) – develop and implement SEO strategies (on-page, off-page and technical) to improve organic search rankings, drive qualified traffic and enhance website visibility
  • marketing automation – design, implement and optimise automated marketing workflows and lead-nurturing campaigns using CRM/marketing automation platforms to boost engagement and conversion rates
