OVERVIEW

We are seeking a creative and strategic Marketing and Social Media Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing effective marketing and social media strategies that enhance our brand presence, engage our audience, and drive traffic to our platforms. This role requires a keen understanding of public relations and social media management, as well as the ability to analyse performance metrics to optimise campaigns.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in marketing, social media management, and content creation.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing strategies, platforms, and tools.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency with social media platforms, content management systems, and analytics tools.
  • Creative mindset with the ability to design innovative campaigns.
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners.
  • Experience with website management and app development is advantageous.
    This role is office-based, 8:30-17:00 (40 hours per week). Occasional national travel might be required for promotional activities and meeting customers and partners.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute comprehensive social media strategies across various platforms.
  • Create engaging content that resonates with target audiences while maintaining brand voice and messaging through social media, websites, blogs, newsletters, and other marketing materials.
  • Monitor social media channels for trends, customer feedback, and engagement opportunities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of marketing efforts and messaging across all channels and marketing material.
  • Analyse social media performance metrics to assess the effectiveness of campaigns and make data-driven recommendations for improvement and lead generation.
  • Coordinate campaigns, advertisements, and promotional activities with external marketing agencies, as required.
  • Manage relationships with partners to expand reach and enhance brand visibility.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in social media management.
  • Conduct competitor and market analysis to identify opportunities and trends.
  • Manage engagement and loyalty programmes for app users, working with brand partners on sampling, testing, and launches.
  • Collaborate with the development team to update, review, and enhance the company app to meet user and business needs.
  • Mentor and support interns and junior team members in marketing and social media strategies.
