TEAM OVERVIEW:

As EDC aims to be the leader in helping all Canadian exporters go, grow and succeed internationally, the marketing team has an ambitious agenda to deepen exporter engagement through digital capabilities and insights-based marketing programs. The marketing team is seeking an individual contributor to accelerate its digital program, with a focus on SEM, to increase awareness of EDC and our products and solutions across current and potential Canadian exporters.
As a digital marketing manager, (SEM focus) you will be responsible for defining and developing digital strategies/programs promoting EDC’s solutions. Defined as an exceptional communicator, the candidate will leverage data, insights and qualitative research to effectively inform targeted programs. Relying on effective relationship building, the candidate is expected to understand and translate business goals into Exporter-centric digital strategies that are measurable. The successful candidate should have a strong drive for results while striving for innovation throughout the campaign life cycle.

Responsibilities
  • Develop, implement, and manage SEM campaigns across various search engines (Google, Bing, etc.).
  • Conduct keyword research and analysis to identify opportunities for campaign optimization.
  • Monitor and analyze campaign performance metrics, providing actionable insights and recommendations.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to create compelling ad copy and landing pages.
  • Manage budget allocation and bid strategies to maximize ROI.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in SEM and digital marketing.
  • Perform A/B testing to improve ad performance and conversion rates.
  • Generate regular reports on campaign performance and present findings to stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with search engine guidelines and industry standards.
  • Develop, implement and manage digital campaigns to promote the organization’s products and services across various channels (digital & traditional) that drive awareness, engagement, and ultimately result in lead generation.
