Description

POSITION OVERVIEW

TechChange is seeking a highly organized, tech-savvy Digital Marketing Manager (Part-Time, Contractor) to lead and execute core marketing workstreams for the Global Digital Health Forum (GDHF).
This position supports the successful execution of GDHF by managing critical aspects of marketing campaigns that are primarily designed to drive ticket sales and secondarily designed to entice sponsorship.
This role is ideal for an early to mid-career self-starter who excels at project management, thrives in fast-paced environments, and is always looking for smart, efficient ways to get things done—especially through the use of AI and automation. The ideal candidate is fluent in modern marketing tools, quick to learn new platforms, and ready to recommend low-cost, high-impact solutions. From campaign development and website coordination to speaker promotion and post-event engagement, this person will be instrumental in driving visibility and engagement across every stage of the event.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 5 years of experience in marketing, digital communications, or campaign management, ideally in nonprofit, social impact, or global health.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills with attention to detail.
  • Proficiency with digital marketing and design tools (e.g., Brevo, Canva, CMS platforms).
  • Comfortable using AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude) to support content creation and workflow automation.
  • Excellent writing and communication skills.
  • Experience working with virtual or hybrid events preferred.
Responsibilities
  • Execute and adapt an existing multichannel marketing plan to drive GDHF ticket sales and sponsor interest.
  • Develop and coordinate content across web, email, and social platforms using automation and AI tools.
  • Maintain and update the GDHF website using CMS tools and streamlined workflows.
  • Support speaker and sponsor engagement through coordinated promotional assets and toolkits.
  • Curate and amplify social media content during the live event and distribute daily preview emails.
  • Manage post-event outreach and content wrap-up campaigns.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with internal stakeholders including the VP of Business Development.
