WHAT WE DO

MHNSW brings together the museums, historic houses and associated collections previously in the care of Sydney Living Museums with the vast collection of more than 13 million items held by the former NSW State Archives. This includes one of the world’s most complete and important collections documenting colonisation.

Responsibilities

WHAT YOU’LL DO WITH US

Lead the coordination, production, and delivery of dynamic content across MHNSW’s owned social and eDM channels, while driving innovative initiatives to promote our activities and offerings, engaging diverse audiences along the way.

WHAT YOU NEED TO DO TO APPLY

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS OF THE ROLE

  • Tertiary qualifications in marketing, public relations or related discipline and a minimum 3 years’ experience in marketing and communications.
  • Experience and knowledge of main social media channels including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and YouTube.
  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Solid understanding of what is appropriate and legal when moderating social media channels and when managing enews subscriber and other first party data.
