EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

  • Demonstrated experience working in a fast-paced digital marketing or communications role.
  • Hands-on experience with SEO tools (e.g. Google Analytics, Google Search Console) and paid advertising platforms such as Google Ads, Meta Ads Manager, and LinkedIn Ads.
  • Proficient in managing and scheduling content using social media management and analytics tools such as Sprout Social or similar platforms.
  • Experience using graphic design tools, such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) to create engaging visual content.
  • Proficiency in email marketing platforms such as Mailchimp, including list segmentation, campaign creation, and performance reporting.
  • Familiarity with updating and maintaining websites using CMS platforms e.g. WordPress.
  • Experience working in the healthcare, community services, or not-for-profit sector is not essential but highly desirable.

QUALIFICATION AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

  • Tertiary education in marketing, communications, digital media, or a related field.
  • Current or willing to obtain a Working with Children’s Check (WWCC)
Responsibilities

he Digital Marketing Officer is responsible for planning, executing and optimising digital marketing strategies that support Sonder’s organisational objectives. The role involves managing website content and performance, driving social media engagement, delivering email marketing campaigns, and executing paid and organic search engine strategies. Working closely with the Visual Content Designer and the Marketing & Communications Manager, the Digital Marketing Officer ensures consistent messaging and brand alignment across all digital channels and uses data and insights to refine campaign performance.
