THE OPPORTUNITY

Are you passionate about creating captivating content and building vibrant online communities? We are seeking a creative and driven Social Media Assistant to become the voice of the rucomfy brand online. You will be an expert in all things social media, responsible for bringing our brand personality to life, engaging our audience, and growing our digital footprint across multiple platforms.

REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • A minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a digital marketing role or similar.
  • A proactive and creative mindset with a keen eye for emerging social media trends.
  • Proven experience managing professional social media channels (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook) and using scheduling/analytics tools (e.g., Meta Business Suite, Hootsuite).
  • Experience in content creation, including basic photography, videography, and editing using tools like Canva and Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Exceptional copywriting and communication skills, with a talent for adopting a brand’s tone of voice.
  • Exceptional organisational and time-management skills, with a proven ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Google Workspace (GSuite), including Sheets, Docs, and Slides.
  • A proactive, self-motivated attitude with the ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Familiarity with e-commerce principles and how social media drives sales is a plus.
Responsibilities
  • Content Strategy & Creation: Develop, create, and schedule engaging, on-brand content for all our social media platforms, including Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn and Email Marketing.
  • Content Calendar Management: Design and manage a detailed social media content calendar that aligns with our marketing goals, product launches, promotions, and seasonal campaigns.
  • Paid Social Management: Assist in the setup, monitoring, and optimisation of paid advertising campaigns on Meta platforms (Facebook & Instagram), including audience targeting, A/B testing of creative, and performance analysis.
  • Community Management: Act as the first point of contact for our online community, managing and responding to comments, messages, and reviews in a timely and professional manner.
  • Influencer Collaboration: Manage relationships with our existing network of brand influencers while also identifying and outreaching to new partners who align with our brand. You will coordinate campaigns and effectively repurpose all influencer content across our social channels and e-commerce platforms.
  • Event Coverage: Provide comprehensive social media support for internal and external events, capturing engaging behind-the-scenes and live content.
  • Website & Blog: Maintain and update the company website and blog with fresh, relevant content, and ensure it is promoted effectively across our social channels.
  • Performance & Reporting: Monitor, analyse, and report on the performance of both organic and paid social media and email marketing campaigns, providing monthly insights and recommendations for growth.
