For over 50 years, Zygo Corporation, headquartered in Middlefield, CT, has been a global leader in designing and manufacturing advanced optical metrology systems, ultra‑precise optical components, and complex electro‑optical systems and assemblies.   As a Digital Marketing Specialist, you will be a performance‑driven contributor responsible for executing and optimizing SEO, paid search (SEM), and emerging AI‑driven search strategies. This role is ideal for a hands‑on digital marketer with a strong foundation in traditional SEO and PPC who is eager to expand into Answer Engine Optimization (AEO) and entity‑based search optimization. Key Responsibilities Execute SEO initiatives including keyword research, on‑page and technical optimization, content recommendations, and performance tracking to improve organic visibility. Plan, launch, manage, and continuously optimize paid search campaigns across Google Ads to drive qualified traffic and measurable results. Optimize content and digital assets for AI‑driven and answer‑based search experiences, including featured snippets, People Also Ask, zero‑click results, and AI search platforms. Strengthen brand and entity presence across Google Knowledge Panels, Knowledge Graph signals, Maps, and semantic search ecosystems using schema and structured data. Implement tracking and reporting solutions, including UTMs, pixels, conversion events, dashboards, and performance reports using GA4, Looker Studio, and related tools. Required Skills & Qualifications 2–4 years of hands‑on experience in SEO and PPC (required) Strong understanding of Answer Engine Optimization (AEO) with experience optimizing for featured snippets and AI‑powered search platforms (required) Working knowledge of entity optimization, Knowledge Graph signals, and schema markup Proficiency with Google Ads, Google Search Console, GA4, Ahrefs, and Looker Studio Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into insights and recommendations Basic knowledge of HTML and familiarity with WordPress or other CMS platforms Clear, effective communicator with strong collaboration skills   Bring your passion and commitment to Zygo (can change to Zygo Navitar), where we are curious, collaborative, persistent, and confident, where safety and quality guide every step of our journey.
