CQUniversity is seeking an experienced Digital Specialist Performance and Optimisation to join our high-performing Digital Experience Team, as part of the Global Brand and Marketing Directorate.

This is a critical role responsible for managing CQUniversity’s digital analytics and paid search (SEM) performance, with a strong focus on campaign optimisation and delivering insights that guide strategic decision-making. You’ll lead key initiatives such as audience segmentation, performance reporting, and testing frameworks, and work closely with colleagues across marketing, IT, and external agencies.
As part of your work, you’ll contribute to the development of digital analytics best practice frameworks and help shape the future of CQUniversity’s digital marketing capability, including solutions for a cookieless future. Join us in shaping impactful digital experiences and driving data-led marketing outcomes at one of Australia’s most engaged universities.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

  • Proven experience developing and delivering analytics strategies that align with organisational goals and industry changes.
  • Deep understanding of analytics platforms, such as GA4, GTM and Looker Studio.
  • Experience in delivering high performing SEM campaigns across Google Ads.
  • Ability to lead a multidisciplinary team and manage complex digital initiatives across SEM and analytics.
  • Strong understanding of analytical solutions such as CAPI, cross domain tracking and UTMs.
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to advocate for user needs and influence decision-making.
