The Strategic Services team at Halight Inc. is a cross-functional powerhouse made up of three core groups:

  • The Creative Team designs and develops brand materials, client training content, and platform visuals.
  • The Engagement Team supports clients in executing their strategies within the Halight platform, driving user adoption and campaign success.
  • The Support Team ensures our clients’ administrative and operational needs are met across the platform with reliability and care.

We leverage tools like Google Ads, Meta Ads Manager, HubSpot, 6Sense, and Propensity to drive decisions and continuously optimize our efforts. Let’s Talk About the Role
As the Digital Marketing Specialist at Halight Inc., you will lead the execution of digital marketing initiatives focused on driving measurable outcomes through paid media, SEO, AEO, GEO, and demand generation. You will be responsible for optimizing the digital presence and campaign performance of both Halight and its clients, ensuring strategic alignment and tangible results. Your role involves cross-functional collaboration, performance tracking, campaign optimization, and driving qualified traffic and leads.
Key Responsibilities:
Responsibility 1: Plan, execute, and optimize paid media campaigns across platforms including Google Ads, Meta Ads Manager, and LinkedIn.
Responsibility 2: Implement and manage SEO, AEO (Answer Engine Optimization), and GEO strategies to increase visibility and inbound traffic.
Responsibility 3: Collaborate with content creators and designers to develop effective, brand-aligned creative assets for campaigns. This includes supporting content creation, developing design concepts for ads, landing pages, and campaign visuals.
Responsibility 4: Partner with the sales team to execute account-based marketing (ABM) strategies using platforms like 6Sense, HubSpot, and Propensity.
Responsibility 5: Analyze and report on performance metrics including ad spend efficiency, website traffic, and lead generation. Use analytics to adjust and refine campaigns to meet business goals.
Responsibility 6: Manage digital advertising budgets, ensuring ROI and effectiveness of campaigns.
Responsibility 7: Develop segmentation strategies and audience targeting across paid channels to maximize engagement.
Responsibility 8: Stay current on digital marketing trends, best practices, and platform updates, bringing innovative, design-forward ideas to the table to continually optimize campaigns.
Other Responsibilities: Perform other related duties as assigned or as the need arises to support the overall success of the company and its products.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in a digital marketing role with hands-on campaign management.
  • Must be a Canadian resident
  • Proven expertise with Google Ads, Meta Ads Manager, HubSpot, 6Sense, and Propensity.
  • Strong knowledge of SEO, AEO, and GEO optimization techniques.
  • Experience with demand generation and lead funnel optimization.
  • A creative eye for design and basic content creation skills with the ability to collaborate on impactful visuals and copy that align with brand messaging.
  • Ability to interpret data and translate it into actionable strategy.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple campaigns and priorities.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and in a team environment.

This is a one year project role.
Candidates must be eligible under the Youth Employment Program.
Job Types: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 6-12 months
Pay: $45,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
