We are currently seeking a Digital Marketing Specialist to contribute to our mission in a dynamic startup environment. As a Digital Marketing Specialist, you will be responsible for leading the execution of our digital presence end-to-end—from brand visuals and multimedia content to ecommerce and website management. This role is ideal for a resourceful, creative, and technically savvy marketer who thrives in a fast-paced environment and wants to own impactful projects from concept to launch. Take the #NextLeap with Lunar Outpost and work on the Lunar Terrain Vehicle (LTV), which will carry NASA astronauts farther than they've ever been before on the lunar surface! Key Responsibilities: Content & Visual Media Lead in-house graphic design, producing brand-aligned marketing assets, social media visuals, presentations, reports, and sales collateral Capture and edit photography and video content for campaigns, events, and products Create and manage a content pipeline for short-form videos, reels, and other multimedia formats Maintain a digital asset library with strong version control and organization eCommerce & Website Own day-to-day website design and maintenance (e.g., product updates, page builds, UX improvements) Manage and optimize our eCommerce platform, including product listings, inventory sync, promotions, and analytics. Ensure consistent brand representation and a seamless user journey across our digital platforms Collaborate with IT or contractors as needed to implement more technical changes Campaigns & Strategy Support and help drive integrated marketing campaigns across email, web, and social Monitor and report on digital performance metrics to inform decisions and improvements Work with the broader marketing team to brainstorm and execute creative ideas that amplify our reach and impact Required Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Journalism, Graphic Design, or related discipline 3–5 years of experience in a digital marketing or creative production role Proven ability to independently manage end-to-end creative workflows: graphic design, photo/video, and editing Hands-on experience with eCommerce platforms (e.g., Shopify, Wix, WooCommerce) and CMS tools Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, Figma, or similar design tools Experience with basic website editing (HTML/CSS is a plus, but not required) Strong understanding of digital marketing fundamentals, content strategy, and analytics A portfolio that demonstrates a wide range of design and content work Self-motivated, focused, and driven to meet critical deadlines Excellent organization and time management skills Excellent written and oral communication skills U.S. Person Preferred Qualifications: Experience working in a startup or lean team environment Familiarity with tools like HubSpot, Google Analytics, Asana, or Mailchimp Ability to shoot and edit lightweight video content (YouTube, Instagram) Knowledge of SEO, paid media, or digital ad platforms Any offer of employment for this position is conditional upon Lunar Outpost receiving the LTVS Phase II contract from NASA.
