Description

The Manitoba Centennial Centre Corporation (MCCC) plays a vital role in supporting arts and culture across Winnipeg and the province. MCCC achieves this by providing facilities and facility management for several prominent venues, including the Manitoba Museum and Planetarium & Science Gallery, the Centennial Concert Hall, the Royal Manitoba Theatre Centre, the Tom Hendry (Warehouse) Theatre, Artspace, the Manitoba Production Centre, and four parking facilities.
MCCC directly manages both the Centennial Concert Hall, home to its resident companies the Winnipeg Symphony Orchestra, Manitoba Opera, and Royal Winnipeg Ballet, and the Manitoba Production Centre, a purpose-built studio supporting Manitoba’s growing film and television industry. The Centennial Concert Hall also hosts a wide variety of events, including performances by local talent, international artists, dance companies, and touring Broadway productions.
Your Role at MCCC
Reporting to the Manager, Entertainment and Marketing, the Digital Marketing Specialist is responsible for growing MCCC’s digital presence and helping us connect with audiences in meaningful ways. This role works across platforms to promote events, support internal communication, and tell the story of MCCC and the iconic venues it supports. From social media and website management to email campaigns and digital signage, you’ll support a wide range of content and campaigns that engage patrons and partners.
How You’ll Make an Impact

You’ll be the lead on digital marketing execution, creating content, sharing stories, and keeping everything up to date and on-brand.

  • Plan and execute digital campaigns that promote events, initiatives, and brand awareness.
  • Strategically develop and manage paid digital advertising across platforms such as Google, Facebook, and Instagram to boost visibility and drive engagement.
  • Manage MCCC’s social media channels: create content, schedule posts, and track engagement.
  • Coordinate and send email campaigns, ensuring messaging is timely and relevant.
  • Keep websites updated and optimized, including SEO and ticketing content.
  • Manage lobby monitors and outdoor video board content.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and clients to gather assets and share updates.
  • Track and report on analytics using Google tools and other platforms.
  • Support internal digital communications and help maintain brand consistency.
  • Contribute to other marketing initiatives and projects as needed.

Who You Are

You know that digital marketing takes a mix of creativity, strategy, and technical know-how and you’re comfortable wearing all three hats. You don’t need to be a coding genius or design guru, but if you can confidently navigate the tools below and bring a thoughtful, curious mindset to your work, you’ll fit right in.

  • You’ve got education or experience (or a mix of both) in marketing, communications, digital media, or something closely related.
  • You’ve spent 1–3 years creating content, managing digital campaigns, or building engagement online.
  • You’ve set up or supported email campaigns, managed paid ad campaigns (Google, Meta, etc.), and tracked performance.
  • You’re comfortable running social media accounts and growing an audience with purpose.
  • You write clean, engaging copy and you know how to adjust tone for different platforms.
  • You know your way around tools like Mailchimp, Canva and Adobe Creative Suite.
  • You’ve worked with CMS platforms like WordPress and can handle basic HTML/CSS tweaks.
  • You’re organized, collaborative, and not afraid to try new tools, test new approaches, or pitch a fresh idea.
  • You can juggle multiple projects without dropping the ball and still find time to ask great questions.

What to Expect

  • This role moves at the pace of live events, some weeks are steady, others are full of buzz.
  • You’ll primarily work Monday to Friday, but occasional evenings or weekends may pop up around key performances or campaign deadlines.
  • You’ll be based on-site in a creative, collaborative environment, with opportunities to see your work in action across our venues.

Why You’ll Love It Here

  • Creative impact – Your work helps bring performances, programs, and stories to life online.
  • Diverse projects – From symphonies to stage shows to community initiatives, no two campaigns are quite the same.
  • Supportive team – You’ll collaborate with a group that values fresh ideas, open communication, and shared wins.
  • Room to grow – We’re building momentum, and your voice and creativity will help shape where we go next.

Compensation
This is a full-time unionized position with an annual salary range of $58,877 to $70,678, depending on experience and qualifications.
