Join NEXCOM for an exciting 18-month project supporting Ecommerce, digital content, and enterprise marketing operations in a fast-paced collaborative environment. This short-term position is benefit eligible. Job Summary Works directly in supporting the Marketing Communications Coordinator – E-Commerce, focusing on maximizing opportunities related to online cross-channel marketing communications. Duties and Responsibilities Supports the Marketing Communications Coordinator E-Commerce by using Facebook, YouTube, Twitter, and other digital marketing channels including, but not limited to, email and SMS. Uses social media to monitor, respond, and engage within corporate branding standards. Uses digital marketing channels, including but not limited to email and SMS, to communicate sales and promotions to customers. Interacts directly with customers to promote the brand and resolve disputes professionally. Serves as a brand advocate and supporter of the NEX community, responsible for externally engaging in conversations with customers. Demonstrates skill in understanding, selecting, and utilizing appropriate digital marketing tools. Monitors and engages across social media channels while enforcing standards related to timelines, professionalism, and customer support. Communicates company success stories related to digital media initiatives. Serves as the company subject matter expert for operation and management of a comprehensive external contractor email service, including: List maintenance List importing Customer authentication Establishing and maintaining customer mailing preferences Setting up triggered emails Monitoring metrics Performing related email marketing tasks Monitors the NEX email list for hygiene and quality control, ensuring additions, changes, and deletions are processed accurately and implements corrective action as needed. Develops and manages the schedule for email distribution supporting NEX store promotions, online promotions, and the NEX digital flyer, including setup and QA of versions. Organizes and plans content and promotional offers for digital customer communications. Develops and communicates procedures and policies for digital communications sent to customers on behalf of stores; coordinates the creation, approval, and distribution of digital communications. Tracks, analyzes, and reports performance metrics for digital marketing campaigns. Performs other related duties as assigned. GENERAL EXPERIENCE Three years of experience gained in administrative marketing support and or retails sales or other related responsible work that enabled applicant to gain knowledge of marketing and customer service. OR SUBSTITUTION OF EDUCATION FOR EXPERIENCE One year of related academic study above the high school level may be substituted for 9 months of experience up to a maximum of a four year bachelor s degree for three years of general experience. AND SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE Two years of progressive experience that provided background in customer relations and customer services in a retail and or services environment.
