KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:
Experience: One year to three years of similar or related experience. Specifically, experience working with a CMS (e.g. Umbraco, WordPress, Squarespace) and experience working with email service providers (e.g. Salesforce Marketing Cloud and with reporting (Tableau)).
Education: (1) A two-year college degree, or (2) completion of a specialized certification or licensing, or (3) completion of specialized training courses conducted by vendors, or (4) job-specific skills acquired through professional experience. Bachelor’s degree preferred, but not required.
Interpersonal Skills: Work involves much personal contact with others inside and/or outside the organization for the purpose of first-level conflict resolution, building relationships, and soliciting cooperation. Discussions involve a higher degree of confidentiality and discretion, requiring diplomacy and tact in communication.
Other Skills: Excellent PC skills to include Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook. Effective professional verbal and written communication skills. Organizational and time management skills. Strong eye for detail and quality. Good judgment and decision making with the ability to self-direct while prioritizing day to day tasks within specific timelines. Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license.
Physical Requirements: May involve long periods of sitting, standing or walking. Frequent lifting required (up to 50 pounds). Bending, squatting, reaching, grasping, moving or climbing. Finger dexterity while using computer. Continuous talking and hearing in person and on the telephone. Continuous clarity of vision at 20 inches or less and continuous clarity of vision at 20 feet or more.
Work Environment: Normal workday with occasional overtime or unpredictable schedule with extended hours. May require working Saturdays or Sunday. Exposed to potentially hazardous conditions, i.e., robbery. Travel to all credit union regions may be required.
ROLE:
Implements marketing strategies to enhance and attract members experience through digital channels; including but not limited to, social media, content management system (external site), email service provider, online banking and statement provider. Supports marketing efforts by collecting and organizing data across Credit Union platforms. Works closely with Marketing leadership to design, coordinate and execute all digital marketing projects and campaigns both internally and externally. Provides general support and works in collaboration with the marketing team.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES:
25% Is the primary resource in day-to -day email marketing activities including, but not limited to, email setup and execution, database selection, scheduling, testing, maintaining email campaigns and reporting. Identifies target audiences, analyzes market trends and chooses the most effective digital channels and tactics to engage and convert members. Assists troubleshooting technical issues related to email sending provider and other aspects of email execution, as required. Stays abreast of email marketing best practices.
25% Maintains and optimizes the website content management system (CMS) for Rogue’s external website. Provides assistance with product and content updates across Rogue’s website. Documents, troubleshoots and resolves website performance. Optimizes site - through content, page layouts and retargeting to provide an exceptional user experience. Maintains branding and marketing within Rogue’s online banking platform.
15% Supports third party integrations and systems, including website plug-ins, phone queue and other SaaS products. Manages workflow within work management software (Jira).
10% Administrates and assists in strategizing pay-per-click advertising. Works to maintain, update and optimize these platforms and efforts.
10% Collects and organizes data from various sources within the Credit Union and makes meaningful actionable items to meet organizational objectives. Measures and reports on the performance of marketing campaigns against goals.
10% Manages social media and social networking sites. Primary duties include scheduling and implementation of social media content and strategy. Collaborates with marketing team on social campaigns and analytics.
5% Works on special projects and proactively performs other related duties as required or assigned by Marketing leadership.
