HYBRID POSITION - 3 DAYS IN OFFICE, 2 DAYS AT HOME

Thinkr Marketing, a full-service marketing agency, is looking to add a Digital Marketing Specialist to the team. The successful candidate will specifically work on SEO projects, as well as some PPC and Programmatic campaigns at the local, national, and international level. This position requires strong organizational and communication skills, strong writing abilities, digital expertise, an expert grasp of user search intent and trends, and acute attention to detail.
This position reports to the Director, Digital Marketing.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum 2 years of hands-on SEO AND 2 years of hands-on Paid Ads experience (preferably in an agency setting).
  • hands-on experience working with popular SEO tools & Google services (including analytics, tag manager, datastudio, etc.)
  • Knowledgeable within Wordpress Environments (Shopify knowledge an asset, but not required).
  • High level of communication skills and ability to present.

Responsibilities
  • Follow the agencies SEO processes and carry out page-level optimizations.
  • Create necessary SEO content as instructed or as discovered by you.
  • Note any technical SEO issues and either flag the development team, and/or assist in creating solutions.
  • Review and understand analytics data from a number of sources and create the narrative of SEO performance; understanding what the data means in real terms, and not just reading numbers!
  • Assist in the creation of paid/programmatic campaigns
  • Assist in the ongoing management of paid/programmatic campaigns
  • Use and debug Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics 4, ensuring that all analytics are tracked correctly, including key events.
  • Work from a campaign brief to deliver original, high-performing paid and organic campaigns, from conception through to completed projects.
  • Prioritize and balance multiple priorities simultaneously and meet timelines with agility, accountability, and responsiveness.
  • Keep the team informed of progress; anticipate challenges; recommend solutions.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and tools by conducting research and updating tools, watching tutorial videos, etc.
  • Develop creative solutions for clients’ digital marketing problems.
