QUALIFICATIONS:
- Post-Secondary degree from an accredited university with designation in Marketing, Advertising or relevant field.
- Three years of related experience in digital marketing, social media management, or communications.
- Well-organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple projects while prioritizing tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong written communication skills, with the ability to adapt and edit content for different audiences and channels.
- Proficiency in Google Analytics and other data analysis tools (e.g., Meta Business Suite, Google Ads). Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data to inform decisions.
- Experience in website management, including creating new landing pages, updating content, and managing blogs. Familiarity with WordPress is an asset.
- Highly proficient in the Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premier Pro, etc.)
- Strong understanding of social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn, etc.
- Thorough understanding of traditional and digital marketing elements (e.g., SEO, PPC, social media) and market research methods.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook).
- Video editing experience is an asset.
- Passion for the automotive industry and a commitment to staying up-to-date on industry trends and news.

Responsibilities:
ABOUT THE ROLE:
Reporting to the General Manager, the Digital Marketing Specialist will report directly to the General Manager responsible for the location. This role requires expertise in digital media, including website maintenance, social media management, and online advertising. The Digital Marketing Specialist should actively monitor digital trends, consumer behavior, and analyze campaign data to optimize digital strategies for driving traffic and sales.
THE DIGITAL MARKETING SPECIALIST WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:
- Designing all digital media graphics and in-store signage. This includes designing website banners, social media graphics, posters, and a variety of promotional materials to maintain a consistent brand image across all platforms.
- Develop, publish, and scale digital marketing content across Google, social media, email, and other platforms to maximize ROI. This includes determining the optimal ad placement and budget allocation on each platform to effectively reach target customers.
- Manage and maintain the dealership’s website, ensuring content is current, technically optimized on both desktop and mobile, and visually engaging.
- Review website analytics (e.g., user numbers, sessions, engagement rates) to assess and improve overall site effectiveness.
- Conduct SEO and keyword research to optimize the website content for search engines, including writing blog posts.
- Analyze and report on the effectiveness of digital marketing campaigns, tracking metrics such as website traffic, ad clicks, and conversion rates.
- Work closely with the Wood Automotive Group Videographers to develop engaging video content for the dealership. Responsibilities include writing video scripts, completing a detailed video checklist, and collaborating on creative ideas to achieve campaign goals.
- Manage dealership social media sites daily, designing and publishing engaging content to boost interaction and engagement. Launch and optimize paid advertising campaigns to increase reach and conversion.
- Monitor and analyze metrics from tools such as Google Analytics, Google Ads, and Meta to provide actionable insights and guide campaign adjustments.
- Launch email and text campaigns through the CRM tool for database marketing.
- Work with third-party marketplace vendors (e.g., Kijiji, CarGurus, AutoTrader) to ensure vehicle inventory is consistently updated and optimized across platforms, including accurate trim and field details.
- Take, post, and/or remove vehicle photos on the dealership and related websites, ensuring up-to-date online inventories.
