Job Description: Arcadia University invites applications for the position of Digital Marketing Strategist within the Enrollment Management and Marketing division. Reporting to the Director for Enrollment Marketing and Analytics, this position plays a key role in advancing Arcadia’s enrollment goals through the planning, execution, and optimization of digital campaigns across a variety of paid channels.

Responsibilities:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Developing, executing and optimizing paid digital marketing campaigns that drive lead generation and enrollment for undergraduate and graduate programs.
  • Managing digital advertising budgets, performance tracking, and reporting across platforms.
  • Collaborating with internal stakeholders to ensure integrated and student-centered marketing efforts.
  • Aligning paid digital strategy with SEO, content, and brand initiatives across the University’s digital presence.
  • Using data insights and analytics tools to guide decision-making, improve campaign outcomes, and inform future strategies.

Essential Functions

  • Digital Campaign Strategy and Execution:
  • Plan, implement, and optimize integrated digital marketing campaigns across paid channels (search, social, display, email) to drive lead generation, applications, and enrollment.
  • Manage digital advertising budgets to ensure strategic allocation of resources and maximize return on investment.
  • Collaborate with the Web Content/SEO Manager to align campaign strategies with SEO and content optimization efforts.
  • Work closely with Enrollment ManagementMarketing and University Relations teams to develop integrated, student-centered marketing initiatives.

Performance Tracking and Optimization:

  • Use tools such as Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Looker Studio, and Salesforce to track and analyze campaign performance.
  • Conduct A/B testing, audience segmentation, and behavioral analysis to inform and improve future marketing strategy.
  • Create campaign briefs, manage timelines, and develop post-campaign reporting for continuous improvement and knowledge sharing.

Creative Support and Coordination:

  • Coordinate messaging, creative assets, and timelines with internal teams and external vendors.
  • Ensure all campaign materials align with Arcadia’s brand standards and maintain consistency across digital platforms.

  • Support broader university marketing initiatives as needed, including event promotion, social media content, and crisis communications.

Qualifications:

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Digital Marketing Strategy: Deep understanding of digital media planning, audience segmentation, customer journey mapping, and campaign lifecycle management. Proven ability to develop and execute cross-channel digital strategies that align with brand goals and enrollment objectives.
  • Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills; able to translate marketing concepts into clear, compelling messaging for diverse audiences. Capable of tailoring communication style to students, colleagues, leadership, and external partners.
  • Technology: Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace. Extensive experience with digital marketing platforms such as Google Ads, Meta Business Suite, Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, and Looker Studio.
  • Data Analysis: Comfortable using multiple data sources to identify trends, optimize ROI, and inform decisions.
  • CreativityAdaptability: Willing to test new ideas, iterate quickly, and adapt to shifting priorities.
  • Collaboration and Teamwork: Comfortable working cross-functionally with Enrollment ManagementMarketing and
  • University Relations teams. Able to build strong partnerships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong quality control and editing skills to ensure accuracy and alignment across digital channels.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, digital media, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in digital marketing strategy and execution, preferably in higher education, agency, or nonprofit sectors.
  • Demonstrated expertise in paid digital channels (search, social, display, email).
  • Experience using analytics and reporting platforms to assess performance and inform decisions.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in higher education enrollment marketing or student recruitment.
  • Google Ads and Google Analytics certifications.
  • Experience with Salesforce, or similar CRM/enrollment management systems.
  • Knowledge of HTML/CSS and basic web editing is a plus.
