Description Launch Your Career in Digital Marketing & Creative Strategy Red Moon Marketing is seeking a creative, driven, and detail-oriented Digital Marketing Intern to join our team for the summer. This hands-on internship is designed for rising seniors who want real-world experience building brands through organic social media, content creation, and digital design—not just observing from the sidelines. This role is ideal for someone who is both creative and strategic—someone who enjoys designing content, editing video, and contributing to campaigns while also learning how performance marketing and media buying work behind the scenes. You will play an active role in creating content, supporting campaign execution, and contributing to live client work across multiple industries. What You’ll Gain Hands-on experience managing and growing organic social media channels Real-world experience designing social ads, digital assets, and website content Exposure to video editing and content production workflows Understanding of how creative connects to performance marketing and media buying Experience supporting live digital campaigns and secondary campaign management Collaboration with cross-functional teams across creative, strategy, and client services A portfolio of real client work you can showcase after the internship Program Details Hours: Up to 40 hours per week Location: Charlotte, NC (Onsite) Compensation: $15 per hour Duration: Summer term (flexible based on academic schedule) Key Responsibilities Organic Social Media & Content Creation Assist in planning, creating, and scheduling organic social media content Develop engaging posts across platforms (Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, etc.) Write captions, support content calendars, and contribute to brand voice development Monitor engagement and identify opportunities to improve reach and performance Graphic Design & Creative Production Design social media graphics, paid social ads, and digital campaign assets Assist in website design updates (layout, imagery, visual enhancements) Create visual content aligned with brand guidelines and campaign goals Support development of presentation visuals and marketing materials Video Editing & Content Development Edit short-form video content for social media (Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts) Assist in cutting, formatting, and optimizing content for different platforms Contribute ideas for video concepts, hooks, and storytelling approaches Campaign Support & Media Exposure Assist in secondary campaign management, including tracking and execution support Help organize campaign assets, timelines, and deliverables Gain exposure to media buying strategy and platform execution Support optimization efforts by reviewing performance and identifying trends Collaboration & Agency Integration Work closely with creative, digital, and client teams Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute creative ideas Attend internal meetings and gain exposure to client strategy discussions Support additional marketing initiatives as needed Requirements Rising Senior pursuing a degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, Design, or related field Strong interest in social media, design, and digital marketing Previous internship or project experience preferred, but not required Strong organizational and time management skills Excellent communication and collaboration skills Technical Skills Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere Pro, or After Effects) required Familiarity with Canva and other design tools Basic understanding of social media platforms and content trends Interest in digital advertising and media buying is a plus Proficiency in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word) preferred Why Red Moon?
