Clearance: Public Trust Clearance (or ability to obtain) Job Overview: Cogent People Inc. is seeking a Digital Media Analyst to provide visual and design support across Cogent People’s business development, delivery, and marketing efforts, with a strong focus on elevating the quality, clarity, and consistency of presentations and materials. The individual will enhance PowerPoint decks, proposal graphics, training materials, and templates to ensure they are visually engaging, easy to understand, and aligned with Cogent People’s brand guidelines—without altering core messaging. They will contribute to proposal development through layout, charts, icons, and visual storytelling, and help maintain a polished, professional look across all client- and internal-facing materials. In addition, the role supports marketing and brand coordination efforts, including managing and enhancing digital content for the Cogent People Website, LinkedIn, and other social media platforms. This includes formatting graphics, website design, developing and editing video, scheduling posts, maintaining a consistent visual style, and collaborating with leadership and growth teams to translate ideas into compelling visuals. The position works closely with BD, proposal teams, HR, and leadership, responding to quick-turn requests and iterating designs based on feedback. Success in this role requires strong attention to detail, solid PowerPoint and basic graphic design skills, comfort working within templates, and an interest in branding, marketing, and communications in a mission-driven federal contracting environment. Responsibilities: Visual & Design Support Enhance and format PowerPoint presentations to improve clarity, visual appeal, and brand consistency (For both BD & Delivery) Provide graphic design support for proposals, including graphics, layouts, charts, icons, and visual elements Assist with the look and feel of training materials, including slides, handouts, and digital assets Apply Cogent People brand guidelines consistently across all materials Make existing content more visually engaging without changing underlying messaging Marketing & Social Media Support Manage and support LinkedIn and other social media accounts, including: Schedule posts Format visuals and graphics Maintain a consistent brand voice and visual style Collaborate with leadership and growth teams to translate ideas into visually compelling posts Track basic engagement metrics and help maintain a posting calendar Support the development of new marketing materials (both graphics and videos) Brand & Content Coordination Support the development and maintenance of templates (PowerPoint, proposal graphics, social posts, etc.) Assist with light copy formatting and visual storytelling (not primary content creation) Ensure materials align with Cogent People’s messaging as a mission-driven professional federal contractor Collaboration & Support Work closely with BD, proposal teams, project teams, HR, and leadership. Respond to quick-turn requests, especially during proposal periods Incorporate feedback and iterate quickly on designs and layouts Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Design, Marketing, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience). Demonstrated experience supporting design, graphics, marketing, video, or other digital media development in professional environments. Close attention to visual detail with an “artistic eye” for layout, spacing, color, and readability Strong PowerPoint skills Basic graphic design experience (Canva, Adobe, Figma, or similar) Basic video editing skills Comfortable working from templates and brand guidelines Organized, responsive, and able to handle multiple small requests Interest in marketing, branding, and communications Proven ability to work independently and effectively with little to no supervision. Proven ability to manage time and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment. Team-oriented mindset with a strong sense of collaboration, ownership, and accountability. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality and accurate work. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
