At St Marys Rugby League Club, we’re looking for a dynamic Digital Media & Community Engagement Coordinator to join our energetic Marketing Team. Saints is home to multiple restaurants, bars, event spaces, and sporting facilities — welcoming thousands of members and guests every week. Beyond hospitality, we’re proud to be a major supporter of local sport, community groups, and charities, contributing over $980,000 to 45+ community projects last year through our ClubGRANTS program.

ABOUT YOU

We’re looking for someone who is both strategic and creative – a professional who can balance storytelling with data-driven insights. You’ll bring:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or related fields, with 2+ years’ experience.
  • Strong knowledge of social media, email marketing, website CMS (WordPress), and SEO.
  • Proven ability to deliver digital marketing campaigns from concept to execution.
  • Excellent communication, organisational, and project management skills.
  • A collaborative, proactive, and community-focused approach.
Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE

Reporting to the Marketing Manager, you’ll play a central role in shaping our digital presence and amplifying our community impact. You’ll lead the way in creating engaging social media and digital content, managing innovative online ad campaigns, and driving online engagement. You’ll also champion our ClubGRANTS program, building relationships with community partners and highlighting the positive outcomes of our support.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and manage engaging content for social media, our website, the Saints app, and digital publications.
  • Plan, implement, and optimise digital campaigns…. Be a champion of Google Ads, Meta Ads, and more!
  • Coordinate photography and videography to capture events, campaigns, and brand storytelling.
  • Manage and grow our ClubGRANTS program, helping local organisations apply and share their stories.
  • Collaborate with the Marketing Team on campaigns, promotions, and events. We work hard to deliver, and we have plenty of fun in the process!
  • Grow the Saints brand through competitor analysis and market research.
  • Ensure consistency and creativity across all brands digital touchpoints. We have different voices for different brands, and we want to excel at delivering our message.
