DIGITAL MEDIA & MARKETING CONSULTANT

(Part-Time Contract, Hybrid Role)
About UsMei Mei is a farm-focused, woman-owned food business making award-winning, ready-to-eat dumplings. Rooted in tradition and filled with creative, locally-sourced ingredients, our dumplings bring delight, disruption, and sustainability to every bite.
We’re growing rapidly across wholesale, our café, and dumpling classes — and we’re looking for a creative marketer to help us share that story.
Role OverviewWe’re seeking a part-time Digital Media & Marketing Consultant (10-15 hours/week, hybrid with some on-site work in South Boston). This is a 4 month contract role with the option to extend pending business needs and fit. This role will lead content creation, photography, social media, and email marketing to engage our community and drive growth.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Proven experience in content creation, photography, and email marketing
  • Strong writing and editing skills with a sharp eye for brand voice
  • Hands-on experience with email marketing platforms (Mailchimp, Klaviyo, or similar)
  • Familiarity with analytics tools (Meta Business Suite, Google Analytics, etc.)
  • Proficiency with Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar design tools
  • Organized, self-motivated, and able to manage multiple projects

Responsibilities
  • Content Creation & Photography: Capture and produce high-quality photos, videos, and graphics that showcase our dumplings, classes, and café.
  • Social Media Management: Plan, create, and post engaging content; track performance; and engage with our online community.
  • Email Marketing: Design and execute email campaigns (newsletters, promotions, announcements), ensuring mobile-friendly design and strong copy.
  • Analytics & Reporting: Monitor social and email metrics, generate reports, and recommend improvements.
  • Collaboration: Work with the team to align campaigns with business goals and seasonal promotions.
