Job Description At Rituals, our Digital Trading team is dedicated to creating an exceptional online shopping experience. We are looking for a Digital Merchandiser to enhance the commercial success and on-site performance of one of our core categories on both our website and app. This role blends strategic category management with hands-on digital merchandising, ensuring the category is optimized for both engagement and sales. Your key responsibilities include: Develop and execute a digital category strategy, setting KPIs to measure success. Optimise digital performance by tracking sales, conversion rates, and engagement metrics. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align category strategies with business goals and marketing campaigns. Elevate digital product presentation with compelling imagery, accurate descriptions, and strategic placement, and identifying PDP content gaps to enhance customer experience and drive purchases. Analyse and improve the customer journey by implementing upselling strategies, intuitive navigation, and seamless search functionality. Ensure site accuracy through regular checks, swiftly adressing in-season changes and proposing improvements. Identify industry trends and best practices to create innovative product and merchandising opportunities. As part of the Digital Department, you will work closely with the Digital Trading team while also collaborating with Innovation, Supply, the Content Studio, Digital Marketing, and Campaign teams. Michelle, Manager Digital Category Team – Home, Body & Beauty Qualifications We are looking for a Digital Merchandiser passionate about digital commerce and who thrives in a fast-paced environment. You’ll fit right in if you have: A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree and 3+ years of experience in digital merchandising, digital trading, digital category management, conversion optimization, or online marketing. An entrepreneurial mindset with a strong sense of ownership, accountability and proactive problem-solving skills. An analytical approach, using data to drive decision-making and optimize sales performance. Hands-on experience with on-site merchandising tools and platforms like Algolia, Salesforce, Uniform, Contentful, or similar, and analytical platforms such as Google Analytics 4 and Power BI. Strong communication skills and fluency in English (written and verbal). A critical eye, the ability to ask the right questions, and confidence in expressing your opinion.
